Adobe CS3 — Photoshop beta this Friday

You bought the latest Intel Core Duo or 2 Duo Mac. Loading Microsoft Office was a breeze and so was Adobe Creative Suite 2, until you had to use it.

Adobe CS2 is not native to the new Intel Macs, therefore, the programs don’t run as smoothly as they do on a PowerPC. So what’s the solution? Is it possible that Adobe can release a new version compatible with Intel Macs just a year-and-a-half after releasing CS2?

Yes.

Adobe has decided to release CS3, a version written specifically for the Intel chip, although still not native to the Intel Macs. For a sneak peek, CS2 users will be able to download a beta version of Photoshop CS3 this Friday, December 15th. This version will also be available for Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems. The complete Creative Suite 3.0 won’t be available until the second quarter of 2007, but it will be worth the wait!
